Litigation Our firm is best known for its long and established litigation practice. Over the years, our attorneys have tried thousands of cases to juries in state and federal courts. Our reputation speaks of the success that our clients have enjoyed when represented by Gislason & Hunter LLP. Our founder, Sidney P. Gislason, once served as the president of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Practicing attorneys in our firm have been selected to organizations such as the American College of Trial Attorneys and the American Board of Trial Advocates. Our litigators do much more than simply handle trials. We recognize that most cases are and should be settled before trial. Our focus is on bringing a suit to closure on satisfactory or advantageous terms for our client, and as efficiently as possible. We emphasize, early, fair resolution of conflicts outside of the courtroom to avoid needless and protracted litigation. When necessary, however, our trial attorneys skillfully and aggressively present their cases to the court. In sum, there are few areas where we do not have experience in civil litigation.
